No One on this side of heaven gets a free bucket of chicken…we each pay at some point throughout the course of this life. Payment will come either at the beginning, the end, or in increments along the way…So there is no need for jealousy or envy.
Now the question at the top of the stairs is: What’s the benefit of being a Believer if this life requires that we All must pay for our bucket of chicken…
The Believer Gets a Discount, Free Samples and a Coupon for an All -you- Can- eat buffet including Dessert…Yippee!!!
We All Have a Cross to Bear…We will either go through the difficulties of this life in our own might, or we will accept the help of Our Father and rest in His Care.
Thought of the Day
Yielding in Surrender in the face of the Enemy—given the situation— may indeed be the best choice in Wisdom…It allows me to stand aside and watch My Father Defend Me…In other words as it is often stated–“Let Go and Let God have His way”…be still and know that I AM GOD.

Nightly Encouragement
At times we find ourselves in the midst of very difficult circumstances, and decisions must be made. It can be a struggle of conscience when the choices and decisions seemingly go against our character of right standing…but I have come to understand that more than Anything else, God wants us to live peaceably with one another. Sometimes the route we choose to attain peace, may seem contrary to the heart of reason…but God’s Loving Compassion Forgiveness and MERCY overrides the natural course of reason. Hopes and Dreams
I ask a few of my closest friends their thoughts on what it means to have an: Effectual Fervent prayer life. Their Responses: Prayers for obedience, Starting each day in a quiet place for prayer, praying for others first then for your own needs and desires, reading Psalms and Proverbs daily, Praise God and Worship and Thank Him.
In my light hearted-nature I compared these AWESOME Responses to what I actually find myself doing which is: Having a full on tantrum pretty much everyday because life doesn’t appear to be moving anywhere even remotely in the direction of my hearts desire…then repenting for the tantrum and in the middle of repenting I slip back into yet another tantrum, and finally I manage to reach a place of gratitude, with a thankful heart…With the help of a Donnie McClurkin cd. And there in lies my Effectual Fervent Prayer Life, all tied up in the Ministry of Music. So what are my hopes and dreams…Well I guess for starters to stop having tantrums.
