Love versus Law: Continuous Battle

I sat down to write what I had imagined would be this lengthy and tedious article about the role of the Believer/Christians/Followers of Jesus Christ…in a world inundated with protest of every sort, for every reason and every cause…many of which tug at our very souls and renders our hearts saturated with grief. Then it dawned on me that maybe I could express my thoughts and relative opinions rather briefly.

As the body of Christ we are to remember that although we are in this world we are not of this world. Therefore our request and petitions should be towards HE who governs our lives. If I make my appeals to man trusting in the necessity to persuade man, then man, is the Lord of me thus he lords over me. But if I make my request before our Father which art in heaven then God through Christ is my Lord. The dilemma is my level of obedience/faithfulness, to our Lord even in the face of mankind’s evil hurtful destructive nature. Obedience challenges me to make a decision, will I follow our Lord in His Love or will I follow man in his Law. Love covers a multitude of sin…Law is an ever changing mutation of Hatred…For every new law a new species of hatred is formed. There is but one Law for the Believer; Love the Lord with all that is within me, (this is only possible when I choose to accept HIS unblemished Love towards me), and the resulting companion which is, To Love thy neighbor as thyself. But if I am unwilling to accept and receive our Father’s Love, then it stands to reason that it is impossible to have love for my neighbor, mankind, even myself…given that GOD ALONE IS the PERFECT author of LOVE. Therefore, Man’s Law takes the place of Love…man takes the place of our Father.

So in the midst of the protest, I look to Christ. In all HIS innocence, was unjustly beaten tortured and executed/crucified, and not one single angel came down to protest…and yet, He arose victoriously with the unmatched power of Our Father’s Love so we could live as He lives…a victorious life filled with love. …against Love there is no law…with Love there is no need for law
–With the Eye of Love I focus on Your hurt, Your frustration, Your needs, Your pain, Your desires==I Respond with compassion to fill Your void places…[God’s Grace Abounds]
–With the Eye of law I see My hurt, My needs, My frustration, My pain, My desires==I React with my demands for My rights to fill My void places
This love I speak of in Christ is an on-going quest for me, I in fact, have failed miserably at every attempt of this Love, but nevertheless I recognize HIS Truth, and I desire it, I long for it…Born and reared in Mississippi, so my heart is eternally grateful for the many stance of protest that have opened countless doors of opportunity…however, my experience from the south is as much about Jesus Christ as it is about civil rights and protest…And so the decision before me, and I imagine many others, has become an issue of choice, Choose you this day Whom ye will Serve…for as many doors that were opened, they are slowly closing in…mutating towards a disastrous end…–The Door that GOD opens, No man can shut…Far too often we resort to carnal weapons of warfare, but our battle is far deeper than race relations and human rights. {It is a battle against the instigating hand of our true enemy…he hides in worldly chaos, and human discord unleashing his legion of hatred…Only Love can defeat him}

Much Love, More Love, Most Loved (Jesus Christ within)—-Let us Never Cease to Pray. AMEN
